Rule Number : 28-0 : CODES AND DEFINITIONS
SHIPMENT : Except as otherwise provided, a shipment is defined as that quantity of freight received from one shipper at one point of origin, at one place at one time on one bill of lading for delivery to one consignee at one point of destination at one time, via single port of discharge. HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND PERSONAL EFFECTS : The term household goods means used household goods or personal effects (not for resale) such as clothing, furniture for personal and/or residential use, but not including jewelry, furs, silverware and valuable antiques. LS (LUMP SUM) : The Term Lump Sum when used as a rate basis in individual Tariff Line Items shall also mean "All Inclusive" or including any additional Charges or Surcharges which may apply with the exception of the Bill of Lading Processing Fee, or Port Arbitrary Surcharges, unless otherwise specified. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
