Shipper shall furnish to the Carrier a weighing certificate or dock receipt from an Inland Carrier for each shipment of Green or Wet Salted Hides at or before the time the shipment is tendered to the Ocean Carrier. The Weighing Certificate, if furnished, shall either be certified or attested by the signature of the Shipper’s supplier of the hides. For purchase lots which are split by the Shipper after purchase into two or more shipments , a weighing certificate covering the entire purchase lot may be provided, and shipping weight shall be determined from a computation of the average of the hides in said purchase lot. Shipper is to provide container lining to the Carrier’s specification.

1. Containers must be lined.

2. At Shipper’s request, Carrier will provide liner at $300.00 per liner.

3. If container moves unlined, an additional charge of $1000.00 or the actual cost of refurbishing the container will be charged, whichever is greater.
