Rule Number : 1-0 : SCOPE

RULE 1 - SCOPE :

Rules, Regulations, Rates and Charges published herein, apply from U.S. Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Ports and U.S interior Points as listed in Sub-rule I.A to Nicaraguan Ports and Interior Points as listed in Sub-rule I.B. Carrier will provide Port to Port or Pier to Pier service (see Sub-Rule 2.05 for definition of services provided) and through intermodal service (Door) via all combinations of Ocean, Motor or Rail Service.

Intermodal Rates will be shown as single-factor through rates as specified in individual Tariff Line Items, or combination through rates constructed by the addition of applicable Inland Rate Tables.

LIABILITY :

Carrier's liability will be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the Carrier's Bill of Lading as defined in Rule 8.0.
